Xie He (traditional Chinese: 謝赫; simplified Chinese: 谢赫; pinyin: Xiè Hè; Wade-Giles: Hsieh He, fl. 5th century) was a Chinese writer, art historian and critic of the Liu Song and Southern Qi dynasties.

Xie is most famous for his "Six principles of Chinese painting" (绘画六法, Huìhuà Liùfǎ), taken from the preface to his book The Record of the Classification of Old Painters (古画品录, Gǔhuà Pǐnlù).
