It is found in Afghanistan, Bulgaria, China, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Moldova, Republic of, Mongolia, Pakistan, Romania, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine. Its natural habitat is rocky areas.
